Our Vision

At Delaware County Alliance Church, we have been mobilizing all God’s people to provide the 50,000+ in the City of Delaware, the County, and surrounding areas with everyday opportunities to step into Kingdom life.

Our Qualitative Values

We believe accomplishing everything Jesus has for Delaware requires mobilizing disciples for the work he has put before them. Our goal is to equip and disciple God's people to grow in baby steps in each of the 6 values below.

Intimacy with God

Psalm 1 says that each disciple is called to be "like trees planted by streams of water," drawing all life from the source of life: God. We ask disciples, "Are we regularly spending time in God's presence?"

Sharing our Story

We draw inspiration from the man in Luke 8:38-39 who, in response to God's work, went home and "told all over town how much Jesus had done for him." We ask disciples, "Do we know our story a nd how to share it with others?"

Stewardship

We believe everything belongs to God, and listen to Jesus' words when he said, in the end, he will know who gave him food and water (Matthew 25:35). We ask disciples, "How are we leveraging our resources for God's kingdom?"

Gift of the Spirit

We look at 1 Peter 4:10 and see that God's gifts were given in redemption to be stewarded by his bride. We ask disciples, "Do you know your spiritual gifts and are you using them regularly?"

Fruit of the Spirit

We understand the fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5 to be the overflow of our life when we are bumped and bruised. We ask disciples, "What is keeping us to walk in step with the Spirit?"

Area of Accountability

We take the example of Old Testament Israel to "seek the peace prosperity of the city in which I have carried you into exile" (Jeremiah 29:7). We ask disciples, "Can we identify specific people and places we are called to represent God to?"
